FHU Bogdan Pyra was founded in 1991. It's placed in center-east part of Poland. We are specialist in buying and selling skins and hides from best polish slaughterhouses.
From many years we have been involved in leather business. This time help us to developed a strong suplier base to ensure a constant supply of perfectly machine flayed hides and skins. We understand the importance of using only the best raw materials in order to produce quality finished leather.
We can offer wet salted hides and skins. Hides and skins are salted in polish norm PN-85/P-22006, and then they are kept in store in temperature 4—20°C. Our skins are 100% mechanically pulls, 100% origins Europe(Poland). These skins don't have ticks, grubs, hump, holes.
Range 24-35 kg. Average weight 28/29kg.
Range 28-45 kg. Average weight 40+ or -40
We cut bull for 2 parts: fronts and backs.
Range 20-35 kg. Average weight 32/33kg.
We abble to delvier fresh hides.
Bull/heifer
Thickens bull hides: 3,5-5,5mm. Average area: 4,4-4,7 square meter.
Thickens heifer hides: 3-3,5mm. Average area: 4,3 square meter.
Cow
Thickens cow hides: 3-4mm. Average area: 4,4-4,8 square meter, depends of method of tanning (for shoes or for upholstery)
chromium content 7%, PH value 3,9-3,8
